PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Parent Participation Requirements:
  • Work as a working parent one day for every four days your child attends (approximately 2-3 days per month)

  • Prepare a healthy snack for all students once a month, during one of your regular workdays (all menus/supplies provided)

  • Attend the Orientation Meeting and up to four additional membership meetings held in the evenings throughout the school year

  • Participate in up to four Saturday clean-up mornings per school year

  • Perform an ongoing job to help with the operation of the school (scheduling, laundry, purchasing, etc.)

  • Participate in fundraisers

  • Read and be familiar with the handbook

Student Participation Requirements:
  • All students must wear a purple shirt or uniform shirt each school day and on all field trips. New and pre-owned shirts are available for purchase from OCP.

  • Children ages 2 years, 9 months to age 5 are eligible for enrollment in our preschool program. Children under 3 years of age are only eligible for the 2-day program.

  • Only current OCP preschool students in their final year before kindergarten/transitional kindergarten are eligible for the Pre-K program.

  • Independent toileting is not required for enrollment. 

  • OCP is compliant with California State Vaccination Requirements as the law mandates.
